Recent miniatures using dryer fluff, bamboo, found natural objects such as sea shells and gumnuts, plus animal figurines.

I am very happy to say that I will be part of Sculpture By The Sea again this year with a work constructed almost entirely from clothes dryer fluff. I need a heap of it so please, if you use a clothes dryer, particularly if you run a business that uses one, can you please save your lint for me. Any colour is a good colour. I have always loved mini things, and playing with scale generally, so I am delighted to be part of this fantastic show again this year…love it…all the works contributed have to be less that 15cm in any direction. There is usually a truly inspirational range of works…come see.

Giant sized Cuisneaire Rods, (counting blocks dating back to the early 1960s) lie on the ground fresh from their box. Barely touched they represent the enormous possibilties of a childs mind, a frozen moment on the cusp of life.
